This Guy…

It’s amazing how this guy can always cheer me up,
It’s amazing how his smile can make my mood swap,
It’s amazing how much joy he can bring me each day,
And make all my troubles just melt away.
It’s amazing how much his eyes can do tell,
But these eyes can still lie if he’s not feeling well,
It’s amazing how he hides all of his fears,
His doubts and his sorrows, and even his tears.
It’s amazing how he can still act so happy,
When deep down inside, he’s feeling so lonely.
It’s amazing how he can still walk up tall,
Even though he’s got many reasons to fall.
Oh yes! For sure, I do admire this guy,
And I’m sure that I’ll cry if he says goodbye,
For he’s got such a good shoulder to lean on,
And this same shoulder was the one I always cried on.
But I just wish that sometimes he’ll say,
“I need you right now ‘cause I’m not okay”,
Yes, even though this guy’s surely amazing,
Not many know that he’s secretly crying.
